Using Geogebra to investigate Trigonometric Graphs
Technology is a great tool to use in the classroom. The ways to integrate technology in the classroom can vary anywhere from using it as a tool to investigate mathematical concepts or to review concepts before an assessment. In this activity, students will use the software Geogebra to investigate trigonometric graphs. The students will investigate the shifts of trigonometric graphs by creating sliders for the amplitude, b-value, vertical shift and horizontal shifts. This interactive activity is great for the students to construct their own knowledge regarding the properties of a trigonometric graph based on manipulating the variables of a trigonometric graph.
